Study of no single book will get you a pass on the 1Z0-062 Oracle Database 12c Certified Associate exam - you will have to spend many dozens of hours with the Oracle technical documentation. I have identified and used nineteen Oracle 11g manuals that had content relevant to the exam. But if you want a book that will help you study this is the one I recommend.I have an online version of this book available at work through my employer but as I want to step up my study for Oracle exam 1Z0-062 I ordered the paperback edition to read when not at work. Had not Mr. Watson's skillful technical writing and mastery of the subject been excellent in most respects I would not have bothered to order the paper edition. I have compared the exam topics and the book's contents and everything is reasonably covered. Mr. Watson's treatment of the topics is good, sufficiently detailed and understandable. In most chapters I found the descriptions and explanations to be exemplary technical writing. Each chapter presents a coherent treatment of its subject. In short, this book is excellent in most respects -- it is one of the best books on Oracle I have ever seen or used. Now that I have read all the chapters I could find no significant mistakes which are often the bane of such books.The technical editor at Oracle Press likely also deserves some credit for this excellent book. The Total Tester practice exam bundled with the book has fairly good questions and answers to test your knowledge.Even though this book has my five-star recommendation it should be used as an introduction and not a substitute for study of the Oracle technical manuals. I have passed earlier OCA's by reading the Oracle manuals alone but Mr. Watson's book is a handy one-stop reference for exam prep. So if you are going to buy one book to prepare for the 1Z0-062 exam this is the one you should get. But absolutely do not neglect reading and consulting the Oracle 12c technical documentation available at the Oracle website and, perhaps needless to add, all relevant hands-on experience as a dba will help you imprint that knowledge. In that respect the hands-on-exercises in the chapters are useful.Addendum (Feb 2015): After reading every chapter in this book and reviewing the Self-Test questions at the end of each chapter I believe there are some minor errors here and there. For example, in the Oracle on-line documentation it is stated "Be aware that RESOURCE no longer provides the UNLIMITED TABLESPACE system privilege." Therefore Chapter 8, Self-Test Question 2 has only a partially correct answer. Note that in the actual Oracle exam 1Z0-062 there is no partial credit for partially correct answers. Likewise there are some other Self-Test questions and answers in other chapters that are similarly muddled or incorrect. From my brief survey of the blogosphere apparently a number of DBAs are not aware of this specific change in 12c. Still I consider this one of the best Oracle exam prep books I have used.

This is good but I did have to use material from other sources to pass the exam.
This book is a must have for anyone prepping for the 12c Install and Amin Exam. It is the most comprehensive book so far and covers all topics in the exam. For production environment however, you will need to supplement it with other 12c Admin books.
It is a great book, very logically structured, but some of the new chapters (comparing to the previous edition) appear to have been written in a hurry, and after taking the 062 exam I can say that about 25% of the exam questions weren't covered at all in this book. So only use it as a support, don't rely on it for your exam success, or you really risk failing.
I'm packing my brain full of knowledge!!!
